I don’t think I ever felt so seen like this. Like omg, Georgia, yes I love fanfic too but the idea of romance irl? No, not for me. At least it seems very unlikely to happen
I 110% recommend it to anyone who resonated with the blurb, it’s such a good book with aromantic asexual representation.
Also, I found a playlist of a fanmade audiobook till the end of Part 2 - High Standards chapter (page 87). I didn’t listen to it but it's free so…

This book was a really enjoyable read.
It's safe to say that my AroAce self-discovery experience is different from Georgia's, but there still were so many aspects of it that felt so relatable to me, and reading those parts made me feel seen and valid.
This book also provided me with the vocabulary I needed to express my feelings and my desires, and for that I am very greatful to Alice Oseman.

Now I'll go over the other parts of the book.
The general plot – while predictable at times – was enjoyable. All main characters were extremely likeable, and they each felt like their own individual people with unique personalities.
I feel like Oseman used the first-person perspective remarkably well; Georgia's narrated the story using her own voice and it made me understand her perspective and motives much better.
That being said, the story is fast from perfect. I felt like most of the problems and obstacles that Georgia went through were resolved much too quickly and easily (one example would be
how Jason forgave her way too quickly and seemed to forget she ever hurt him after her apology
), and that other characters reacted to things in a way that felt out of place for them.
Another problem I think I need to  cknowledge is that the book only presents one AroAce experience , and I think that it doesn't clarify the fact that there are other ways to be aromantic or asexual well enough. It is important to remember that there are infinitely many ways to be AroAce, and that all of them are completely valid.

Overall, I think that while it has many flaws, it is a very good book that made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and I am glad to have read it.

I think when a book means so much to you it’s hard to give it an adequate review. Like Mr Knightley said, “If I loved you less, I might be able to talk about it more.” This book stared into my very soul and made me understand myself in a whole new way, and it gave me so much hope for my future. I laughed and cried and was rendered speechless. I felt like I WAS Georgia.

I saw this book on the shelf and became intrigued by the cover and was pleasantly surprised to find that I learned a lot about myself while reading it. I resonated with Georgia’s asexuality and understood her. I enjoyed her friendships and self-discovery. I liked the style of writing, although there were a lot of pop culture references and I am not a fan of that.

My main dislikes were the slow pacing for the first half of the book and the repetitive narration by Georgia- a lot of telling without showing. I felt that the characters fell flat sometimes and could have been better developed, although I loved Rooney; no complaints there. I related to her past relationship trauma and really felt for her.

Overall, this was a pleasant book that made me feel seen. I think this book is miscategorized as YA and seems very firmly New Adult to me. That being said, I would recommend this, but only to older teens and up.

Loveless by Alice Oseman was great! As an Aro/Ace it was really nice to see how some others felt about finding out who they are.

This is the first book by Alice Oseman that I've read . It surprised me . I didn't know what to expect going in and I'm glad I read it . This was a book club book.

Loveless follows Georgia as she and her friends go to university . She always thought she was straight and was going to find love someday . She doesn't know why she can't crush on anyone ,only to realize in her university journey that she's asexual /aromantic . This book follows her journey with her friends , discovering that there are other types of love out there .

I definitely recommend this book. It was insightful and heartwarming .
