I read this for class, but I definitely would not have read it otherwise. I'm not one for non-fiction ... or God, for that matter. That being said, Boyle is very funny and has many anecdotes. I do like the overall message of this book, and I would recommend it to either someone religious or someone who deals with gangs (or lacks empathy for said gang members.)
