Amazing character introduction (Takuan ) and we get a glimpse in takezu's past and his motives . Otsu is cute tho ✨ problem is overhanging on a tree..

Since reading the last volume , i did some research and found out that this is based (although fictionalised) on a real person and man that person is just too awesome .

This book however followed the first with more gore and plenty more kill count for our protagonist, but more than just action this book was more cerebral and a psychological war fare was brought on by Takuan , who seems the most interesting character to date

Much better than the first part, a significant portion of the story this time was translated into ink and sketch strokes. The character, motivated to defeat the entire world and be the best, is something that anyone has experienced, featuring highly iconic drawings of light and dark that could serve as a background image. I don't mind that there is still more story to come, as nothing is set in stone yet, and this allows the issue to function as something solitary, which rarely happens in comics.

It has been a while since I given a book 5 stars, and I think this one deserves it!
Why? Because despite being so short and have so few words, it delivered the best life lessons!
Which is "without darkness there's no light."

It continued right where it ended in vol. 1, and since I have become familiar with the art style & writing style, it was really easy and fun and enlightening to read!

1)Characters:
-Takezo.... The demon has finally found light, in this vol. we see more of his cruel childhood and see why he became the child demon.... And it is quite sad and cruel childhood to have....
-Takuan (the Monk).... He has a peaceful and calming sense to him and he seriously is the best advisor and man to have around!
-Otsü.... I felt really really sad for her, being abandoned once again by the people who are supposed to love you, is not an easy thing to overcome.
-Granny.... I feel bad for saying this become she's old.... BUT SCREW YOU.

2)Plot:
This one more of "fighting your inner demon" kind of plot, it was mostly character driven, and we focus on Takezo and his childhood, how he became thr demon, and we slowly see him overcome his demons and see the light once again!
Basically enlightening!

3)Writing style & art style:
I have become familiar with both of them, and being so I came to love the manga even more!

4)Character development:
The most amazing development happened here, when the demon finally opened his eyes.

Overall, I would like to recommend this to you, because it is fun, short and inspiring to read!

Takuan is one hell of a character. It feels wrong to judge a work so early on, considering this is a character study, but so far it's working on me.

And honestly I've never read any other manga, or comic book in general, that has faces and bodies as well drawn as here. There is more humanity in the eyes of a character in one panel of Vagabond than in entire character archs of other mangas.
