This was okay, a good way to end the story. Wasn't crazy about it, but it was worth a read.

Honestly, what is not to love about this story. It’s beautiful, it’s messy, it’s sooo real and deals with different kinds of grief and how to navigate real life.

I’ve read both books a handful of times. I love Adam and Mia. I love that they are so different but complete each other in such a beautiful chaotic way. The story is written so well that no once did I expect what was going to happen in the second book but I thought it was something that needed to happen for both characters to grow. While I was sad that it ended at just two books I thought I ended in a beautiful way.

Side note - If I stay was turned into a movie and it was also portrayed very well on screen. Very glad it wasn’t butchered and that it was so well casted. Wish we got a where she went movie!

My opinion on Where She Went (also including my opinion on If I Stay):

*DISCLAIMER : This is my opinion only, you are entitled to your.*

These will only be short opinion. But one thing I wanted to point out was that I saw a lot of mistakes in grammar not sure if it's by mistake or not. Another thing would be that I find myself quite enjoying the story, it's really easy to read and has quite a deep meaning but I find some part of the book just boring. I do like how you get memories of their life before, it develop your love for them even more.

All in all, this book was a great read, but some parts are quite boring.

I thought this was the pefect way to sum up this story!
Not going to lie, at first I was a little offput by the cornyness of the "rock star life".
But once you break through all of that, it is hard to put down.

damn. still one of my absolute favourites. an excellent take on a second chance romance, love that vibe of the whole book happening in one night. the first one was purposefully a sob story, it was filled with death and tragedy, but it being purposeful made it less meaningful. but this, this is just extremely sad in such a relatable and realistic way. all that pent up anger from both of them felt so cathartic when they let it out.

i dont really have any emotions or thoughts for this book besides that it was just sort of… mid. so was if i stay if im being completely honest, but at least if i stay had a more interesting and compelling story. with the way if i stay ended, it did feel like it needed a sequel, however, this didnt really accomplish what i wanted out of the sequel. i actually loved how we got more insight into adams perspective in this book, but the fact that there were no pov switches and we didnt get even a tiny glimpse into mias thoughts and perspectives left this book with a pretty noticeable hole, where the story still doesnt feel complete. it still feels like were missing a very crucial part of the story. if i stay was completely focused on mia, and so to have the sequel have a very noticeable lack of the inner workings of mias mind and her emotions and feelings throughout is a major flaw for me. also, for some unexplainable reason i found mia extremely insufferable throughout this entire sequel.

This did not live up to its predecessor in both originality and quality though I’ll admit it’s nice to know how it all worked out.

It was an amazing book! At first I didn't enjoy it as much because the chapters kept flipping from the present to the past but it was an overall good book!
