I had a hunch Jo might know what was up. She's not one to have the wool pulled over her eyes. Anyway, this arc is still one of my favorites in a while - very cute, and enjoying the addition of Barney into the nonsense some more! It's been a while since the girls hung out with them.

Oh, I love how much the Lumberjanes can make me laugh. I feel like compared to some of the heavier comic I read this week (looking at you, Jessica Jones) that I really needed the laughs. Seriously.
While April is going off in true April fashion (AKA going totally overboard on everything), the rest of the Lumberjanes have been split off to their own tasks. Though Mal and Jo (and Barney) get most of the attention to this issue. Considering its Jo’s birthday, that makes complete sense.
I have to admit that I didn’t see the twist at the end coming. Well, either twist, actually. Though I’m not ashamed to admit that the second one had me cracking up. I can’t wait to see where that plot ends up taking them!
