I hate that I didn't love this one as much as Inkheart! It just seemed like there were way too many characters in this one. I couldn't seem to keep everybody straight!

My favorite part of this book and the series is that every chapter starts with a quote from other books. I now wish I could travel to the worlds in my favorite books. I was kinda angered with the ending, but I know there is a third book to read so hopefully it will answer some questions.

I thought this book was alright. It took me a while to get through which is rare. I wouldn’t say the characters for much development in this book. The ending was one of the most interesting parts of the plot. In my opinion, some parts of the book just diminish the growth of the characters. This was disappointing after loving the first book so much.
