What can I say? I'm a sucker for these fluffy little romance novels. This one was sweet, and showed the struggles of dealing with ones desires and emotions post-divorce with young children. Definitely worth the read if you want something warm, heartfelt, and quick this Christmas.

My Review:

I'm a sucker for a cute Christmas romance, this threw me just a bit since it was more of a Christmas in July  that eventually goes to Christmas but it was still adorable. It also has insta-love which I am usually not a fan of, however, I really thought this book was cute. Eric and Marissa are very cute together and I kind of loved the misunderstanding they had about there relationships. They meet up at the zoo for both of their daughters class trip and with a few mishaps they are thrown together. The zoo is celebrating Christmas in July and the "Santa" at the zoo seems like he might have some Christmas magic of his own at helping Eric and Marissa realize they might be good for each other. With a little bit of mistletoe, this is a great book to read for the holiday season. I really enjoyed even with the insta-love.

I totally recommend if you are looking for a quick cute holiday read.

Cute and quick read - a good little Christmastime novella. Will read the others at future Christmases.

Mistletoe Mischief is a super short story. It starts off with Marissa at the zoo with her daughter and her class. She was substituting last minute and as the story opens Eric shows up late to be a chaperon. Marissa and Eric's daughters are friends and so they all hang out all day. Marissa is attracted to Eric, but she has a lot of hang up and projects her ex's shortcomings onto him. She is so wishy washy. One minute she is all he is great! The next he is the worst! Just like my ex!! It was a little annoying and Eric can't figure out what is up with her either.

Of course everything works out with the two, but it is kind of sudden. This is one where I feel like if it would have been longer I would have enjoyed it more. It was like suddenly Marissa was all sorry for being crazy, and then the end. Epilogue a few months later at Christmas and we are done. It just felt a little rushed all of a sudden at the end.
