If you are all impacted when reading about SA/r*pe I don't recommend this book, as that is the main focus of this story.

This story captivated me from the beginning! I really loved how Rachel's podcasts were interwoven into the narrative, and it was an alternative medium to learn information on the trial. I found both story lines interesting & didn't find myself rushing ahead to get to one or the other. Unsurprisingly, the topic of this story was very difficult to read. The author did not shy away from the details of SA, and the trauma the victims go through in court. There were so many times in this story I was so frustrated with how our legal system works.

I really like how the two storylines connected in the end. And I didn't see "who did it" coming at all.

. My only issue with this book is how much access and additional information that Rachel found out. I understand she is an investigator by nature, but some of the new information she discovered just seemed to fall into her lap too easy. Overall though this was a really engaging book!
