Okay so this one is getting wild and out of control. I get Rory isn’t “like other girls” but all the guys wanting her and not caring about all the sharing is just getting a tad unbelievable. Like she doesn’t actually sleep with any of the other guys even after the massive breakup. But like she has feelings for all the guys and that’s honestly just messy and annoying at times. She’s completely out of control and lashing out then gets mad when the guys act out of anger. Like girl you need serious therapy. The only guy I still really even care about from the high school group is Caden and not even all that much with the way she just completely neglected them throughout this story. Granted Lukas is a douche and I just don’t like him. Skeeter sleeps with girls he knows would hurt her EVERYTIME they break up from a fight and for the love of everything that holy why do they have to break up over every freaking fight! And it’s always her…I get trauma but shit it got really annoying for a while. Her and Skeeter are toxic but he’s honestly my favorite aside from Hunter and Diesel who are all part of their gang minus Hunter. He’s the leader for a rival group. But honestly I’d like them as her harem more. And I know it said more guys would come into this series but shit I can’t keep up anymore. And the cliffy I’m trying to figure out who the nark is and my guess is Lukas…we’ll see. I am still enjoying the series it’s just bat shit lol.

I’m so in love with this series!! I love the development between Rory and her guys, the twists I don’t expect and just raw emotion I feel for these characters ❤️❤️❤️

I just got off the hot mess express and landed in dysfunction junction...Holy Sh*t! I sooo need more after that cliffhanger!!! There's so much action, twist and turns, steam, violence, and plain badassery. I'm literally on an emotional roller coaster ride. On one hand, I understand she's going through a lot and that's her way of coping with everything (by pushing everyone away). On the other, I'm like "girl, what the hell are you doing?" Or "NOOOO, don't do that!!

Pretty lies really laid the story line for this series and twisted fate completely solidified it. This books puts you on a rollercoaster of emotions and the relationships between characters has you feeling like they’re relationships of your own. I would give this book more stars if I could. So good!

Firstly, I absolutely loved nearly all of the characters in this book. Their stories, their interactions, and reading their POVs made it a great reading experience. Unfortunately, I think the FMC, Rory, wasn’t as likable in this book. Her actions, not horrible, but I feel like her overall demeanor just didn’t really work as well for me in this book. You know the girl who jumps out of the chair to hit another girl on shows like Jerry Springer? She definitely gave off those vibes during this book. Just a lot of unnecessary drama. I’m aware the drama helps with stories but I feel like I was saying “OMG calm down” in my head a lot.

The plot for this book was pretty good though. I loved the introduction of new characters, developments and the heartache. Actual heartache, I almost teared up at one point.

I would rate this one a 3.5/5 but I’m rounding down because I think I said “heeeeere we go again” too many times. Hoping to see more evolution of the characters, especially Rory, in the next book.

This is the second book in this series and if you don't read the first you will struggle to keep up.

Can we please talk about hunter? Im sure he is my new everything. Rory continues to throw her tantrum, pretty sure she has some grief and anger issues we will hopefully see resolved in the next book.
If you're looking for spice this book has it for you, I love all the new character additions and I'm keen to see some development in book 3!

Twisted Fate by R.E. Bond is a dark romance reverse harem novel. This is the second book in the Watch Me Burn Series. 

The book does come with a warning "The series contains dark content such as abuse and rape. It also has m/m scenes throughout. If you are triggered by sensitive content or cursing, this series is not for you." 

R.E. Bond knocked the second book in her debut series out of the park. I couldn't put the book down and binged in one sitting. This book took me on an emotional roller coaster that I never wanted to get off. 

I loved that you get Rory, Tyler, Jensen, Lukas, Caden, Skeeter, Diesel, and Slash's points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life. 

This book is steamy and dark in all the good ways. A MUST READ!!!!

The book ends on an amazing cliffhanger! I can't wait for the next book in the series Beautiful Deceit to be released on January 10, 2021 so I can get more Rory and her men!
