Not a ton of plot, but nothing wrong with that (the other Cabot books seem similar). Basically besties vibing and falling in love. I enjoyed the characters a lot.

this book is written like a fanfic in the best way possible. according to a random tweet i saw it is considered “curtain fic” which is just amazing. i also love the way that daniel and alex speak and think about their friendship… it feels like cat sebastian is just refusing to devalue platonic love in the name of romance, and that is so beautiful to me😭
