This was a delightful book.

The book has four main characters, some small supporting characters, but a plot that has such great direction and twists that you just hang on for the ride.

The main character isn't a saint, she's a bit of a mess, however she admits her mistakes. The therapist is a chilling character and one that disturbs to be played by someone in cinema. Her character is just as good as 'Amazing Amy' from Gone Girl. There was a way the author described when she erased someone from her life, it was so good that I was like, 'damn'. (You'll know what I speak of when you read the book.)

I was getting lesbian vibes from the therapist in the beginning, but that could be the character had a way of being very intimate, under your skin with the main character. She is wicked, obsessed, and quite frankly dangerous. It made me uncomfortable, unsafe, but she was a thrill to read about.

I want more books like this. If the authors come together, hopefully they write something unlike the plot of this book but just as good.

WOW!! This book was so, so good! So many twists and turns and it kept me hooked up until the very last page. Very developed characters and so twisted you won't be able to guess what is coming next! I'm not typically a fan of books that go back and forth between characters but Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen are so good at making it flow. I read the majority of this book in one sitting.

These two authors together are a great team. I can't wait to see what they come out with next.

It was good, fast paced, chapters ended at the right moments. It wasn’t amazing, though. I thought it was predictable and the ending didn’t satisfy me much.

I really enjoy the writing style of the authors, however, this is the second book I soared through only to be disappointed in the ending. Just wasn’t “juicy” enough.

A psychological study seems like a good way to make some extra money, but the stakes involved are greater than could ever have been anticipated in An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen.

Jessica Farris works hard to make ends meet as a make-up artist, so when she comes across a psychology study that appears to pay generously for a few hours of her time, she figures out a way to become part of it. The honest and revealing answers that Jess provides in the study gain her a greater role in the experiment that Dr. Shields is conducting. Told where to go, how to dress, who to meet, and what to say in situations that Dr. Shields arranges, Jess begins to feel as if her mind is transparent to Dr. Shields. As paranoia creeps in about why Jess is told to complete these particular assignments, she tries to figure out the secrets that Dr. Shields is keeping and learns that jealousy and obsession can have rather dangerous consequences.

A captivating, quickly-paced story that mimics a game of cat and mouse, the tale twists and turns as it builds to a desperate and deadly boiling point. Though the story requires a hefty dose of suspension of disbelief for the scenarios enacted within the morality and ethics "experiment", the development of Jess and Dr. Shields's relationship and reliance upon one another was entertaining and provoked self-reflection of how you would react in those instances. Alternating chapters with perspectives between Jess and Dr. Shields, a growing sense of unreliability in their narration is conveyed through both their thoughts and actions, particularly in what they choose to keep from one another, deepening the suspense and tension throughout the narrative.

It was okay. I liked it but it was pretty predictable. The writing style was interesting... dont know if I’d recommend to a friend.

Similar to You, but You was better.

this was so good up to the 95% mark but the ending...a bit too out of character for me.
