I love these cozy little mysteries set in the English countryside and I’m embarrassed to say I almost never figure it out ahead of time! Each books gets better!

Delightful third in the series with Lady Hardcastle and her lady's maid. I'm mad that my library only owns the first three in this series

Audiobook (All of my entries on The Story Graph are audiobooks.)
#3 in series  (I started reading this series in September 2022.)
Will I read other installments?     Probably Not             Maybe              Definitely
This is book three, which is always the decision point on whether I continue with a series. I'm nearly locked into this one as I've bought two more of the recordings.
Comparison to others in series:     Not as good           About the same           Better
This one gives me hope for the rest of the series. I was iffy on the last book, but I don't think I had the time to listen to it like I should have.  I enjoyed the way the action unfolded in this story, but it was about 45 minutes longer than it needed to be.
The narrator was Elizabeth Knowelden. She does a great job.
