WOW...Pepper does it again!? Can't get enough of her writing and Destroyed did just that to me.. Destroyed me!? I bawled reading this book and could not put it down!! If you are a lover of dark romance this surely one to be added to the "must read" list!

4.5 stars for me this was a fantastic read, but get the Kleenex ready it's has an emotional aspect to it. You will just love Clara, Pepper wrote this little girl so relatable that you just can't help but love her and the part she plays in this story, for me that was want stood out. Roan and Hazel have a real tough start but they are both willing to do almost anything for each other to find a happily ever after.

The female character is utterly stupid.

Very sad story.. No laughter or fun.. Just sad.. and some parts dragged on.. Good story but heartbreaking at times..

I actually bought this book off Amazon because the synopsis looked pretty darn good, and after reading I have no disappointment other than it's over. Amazing read! It's hard to write a review now because I feel emotionally drained and my head is still spinning. So my opinion is if you read the synopsis and think you'd like it,you probably will because the book definitely pans out. I love the writers writing style, and I got lost within the pages. I totally immersed myself into this story, hoping for a HEA. My highest rating of entertainment is five stars. This story well deserves it.

This author never fails to make me hold my breath and cry. This is a story about a prince and the princess that set him free... Loved it!

I read this book once when it first came out back in 2014. I am writing this review in 2019 after reading the shelves I had it on, they were wrong. The read date was wrong as well. I have only the memory of this book being about a really scary Russian guy being some kind of underground fighter and a woman with either a daughter or a sister who is very young and dying going to meet this fighter and ending up living with him. I don't remember anything else that wouldn't be a spoiler, but I do remember liking this book. Like most of Pepper Winters books there is that element of foreshadowed danger to the main characters that in the end never comes true. So if that is a spoiler, then so be it.

Anyhow, I know I liked it and intend to re-read it again one day.

Heart wrenching

I don't even know where to start in this book. I was so caught up in it I couldn't put it down . My emotions were on over drive with this book. Everything from laughing crying to feeling angry and more. What a well written book something I would definitely read again
