The firehouse is Sarah's home and the men on her team are her family. They have to rely on each other in life or death circumstances and they always have to have each other's backs. This creates a unique bond. One that is complicated when Sarah finds herself attracted to more than one man. When a wildfire threatens all of their lives they must put personal feeling aside and rely on their fire training and survival instincts to get them all to safety. Sarah refuses to choose between the men. It's all or nothing. Will Sarah get what she really wants for Christmas? This is sweet holiday romance with a twist.

Eh...

Other than a few typos, there's nothing I can say that's particularly bad about this books, there's action, sex and emotions which have been pre established, though not priorly acknowledged before the start of the book. The sex scenes in my opinion aren't particularly steamy, that said I don't consider that a requirement ment on a good book, romance or not. However, despite it being a quick read it just felt like something was missing for me and I wasn't particularly engaged in the story. I don't have much of anything negative to say about the story, but I felt disconnected from characters and never really cared about their plight as I was reading, because of this, it wasn't really the book for me and I probably won't read others in the series.

slow build up

This book was kind of slow for me. I would describe it as being more of a mystery/action book than a romance novella and it had a lot of buildup for one single scene where they all sort of get together. I just didn’t really feel a connection between any of the characters and had a hard time getting into the story!
