I'm honestly a bit surprised at how dark this was considering the IP; I can't think of another band or group that would be totally down having their members be represented as people suffering from suicidal ideation or heavy abuse. This isn't a complaint, it was just a bit odd.
The two things that caused this to lower in point values - at least for me personally - are the pacing which was wildly inconsistent and confused, and the art. It's not bad art but when you have seven people you have to make them look incredibly distinct and this art style didn't allow for that. Several of the characters were hard to tell apart from each other, not because the men look the same in real life, but because the art direction didn't capitalize on what makes them unique people.
It feels very weird to me that this is listed as being made by a corporation and that I can't easily find information on who the illustrator? Like I understand this is a creation of corporate art, but I don't love that and it feels like an erasure of the artists.
Overall this doesn't have a very clear ending and I hope that this gets the sequel I think it deserves.
