Basically, don't read it in hopes of "fun" times, it is not one of the happiest of their books. It isn't bad or sad, but read the warnings and come strong mentally.
I love Saxon James, Eden Finley
I love their books, and this one was great, but not my favorite and all was because of the antagonist.
I loved that they wanted to write about abuse and that they took it really seriously.
But really, I usually don't hate to the point to want someone dead, and I wanted Emmie dead and under 12ft.
It was a change from their usual happy banter books, It was well written, but It felt off to me, I guess it was the tension, the here I come Here I go, and the psychological drain the situation overall took.
