Very satisfying conclusion to a fun series. The plot is a bit more complicated, and the characters a little more filled out emotionally. The bad guy is really creepy, too, though never too scary for younger readers.
A little anticlimactic. I love the series, but this book and the previous one lacked in drama and resolution.
100% the best book in this series. I loved everything about this. While I have enjoyed all the other books, I thought the adventure in this was so much better and richer and created real struggle in a way some of the others didn't really. This did feel like the end of a series, so while I'm thrilled there's another book, I'm a little afraid it won't be as satisfying an ending as this one was. I <3 Alf! And Arioso getting in on the action was *chef's kiss* and Queen Bluebell is the bomb.

Another solid installment in this series, excellent children's fantasy that's fun and engaging
Fifth and final book in this series sees more of the same fantasy elements converging and being melded together, this time with zombies, well anyway, reasonable story I guess but nothing that I will really remember.
