Very absorbing and written with a clear intent to avoid dwelling on the prurient and to focus instead on the process.

I devoured this in a single sitting. I love a good investigative journalism breaking story story and this really delivered. Seeing the extent of Weinstein’s power and reach and his willingness to do anything to silence these women all come tumbling down is pretty satisfying. This book was less successful in the Christine Blasey Ford sections and perhaps should have focussed solely on Weinstein’s accusers.

The thing about TBR lists is that (for me, at least) the books tend to start stacking up. I usually want to read nonfiction within a year of its publication in order to have relatively fresh information at my fingertips, so the fact that I didn't get to She Said until it had been on my list for three years is unfortunate (though my timing is impeccable in other ways: see the She Said movie that literally just came out).
With all of that being said, I found this book to be incredibly important and still super relevant. I would've liked if the last portion of the book dedicated to Christine Blasey Ford was more woven into the rest of the story, but it still worked overall.
