Not my historical cup of tea but an interesting book. Would have enjoyed a bit more of a discussion on how interviews were done. Read for a grad class

Great read but long

This book had great testimonials about life in the segregated south. However, some of the testimonials seemed like they were repeating themselves from earlier chapters. I would still recommend this book if you want a ride through history to see race relations in the segregated south.
