For such an innocent cover, this book is FILTHY. This was a combination of BookTok made me do it and audiobooks becoming available on Spotify. I enjoyed listening to Anastasia grow as a person throughout this book
Spoiler especially when she finally stands up to Aaron

Most of the stars come off from my frustration with Anastasia constantly defending Aaron when he rarely showed her an ounce of kindness. While some people might enjoy Nathan’s overprotective energy, I felt like it was an unnecessary 180 on his personality. I also had to knock of stars for the pregnancy trope… not a fan of it and it could have easily been replaced with a wedding at the end or each of the achieving their longtime sports goals.

I would still recommend this book if you want a lighthearted romance with a little more grit to it.

I absolutely loveddd this and really enjoyed it overall but some of the stuff in the third act/last 10-20% of the book bothered me and reduced it a bit
Spoiler I can’t put my finger on exactly what it was that bothered me but I think it was a combination of too many things going on at the end that weren’t really fully wrapped up, her ending up pregnant which was just unnecessary and also a bit frustrating since it clearly at least temporarily ends her pro skating career and also contradicts them talking about adoption, and just generally the whole thing with Aaron was so long and at some point it just became too much and started annoying me a bit - I also generally agree with the reviews talking abt how it’s too long cause I think a lot of these issues could’ve been solved by making it a bit shorter.

I loved the premise of the book but there just wasn't enough plot to keep me interested.

Was good overall but had a lot of sexual content and unrealistic storylines. Lovable characters for sure.

Really liked this novel-good spice level, medium to low stakes, quick read! Loved the modern setting, the characters were a lot of fun. I do think some of the heavier subject matter was a little clunky but not mis-handled.

Too much filler and not enough plot to balance well. But also a new plot point hitting every few chapters with minimal resolution. We never got more info on Aaron’s actions. Half of the storyline in the book description didn’t happen until 50% in, which is bizarre.

Started off well but ended up being a rage finish to be able to stop reading the book.
