This was my first review this year, at least one that I finished, that I gave lower than a 4 star. It wasn't that it was necessarily a bad book, I just personally couldn't get into it. The reason I normally don't read romance novels is because they often have sex scenes in them. I am a sex-repulsed ace person and I just really don't like reading about people's sex lives. It isn't that there's no place for these types of books and that type of content, it's just something that I personally can't get behind! I also didn't particularly like how generalizing he was making it, as if all millennials have these experiences. I know that ISN'T what he was saying, but it just felt that way as I was reading. I couldn't relate to his experiences, and that would've been fine if he wasn't suggesting that everyone usually experiences these things. I just, personally, didn't connect with the book, but I by no means think it was a terrible book. Just something I couldn't get into myself.
