I really wanted to give this 5 starts and was hoping the best from Rebecca. Although it was good, but it was not Babel-good. Which makes sense, because Babel is such a great, great, great book that it won't be easily topped.
It was the same when I read The Poppy Wars! But Rebecca is a great author nevertheless.

About the book, god, where do I start? There are so many parts I just want to hit Juniper. So yeah, it is a great book because that was the main point. I wonder how can someone be so stupid and smart at the same time.
I'm not saying to do this, but if you get a whole sentence from someone else's story, please, for the love of god, at least use an AI to rephrase it. It's not hard.
. I think that shows how well-written she is.

The ending couldn't be more perfect (need to mention that some people say it was predictable, I don't find it *that* easy to predict, that's just me though).
It couldn't have ended in another way, because that's truly what's bond to happen if you do something like that twice: not learn from your mistakes and still victimize yourself.

And, lastly, I love a good book that makes me reflect on my behaviour. This one did just that. It was nice thinking, oh shit, this is right, I shouldn't have thought like that.

Overall, great book.
