The way John Douglas writes about these cases hooks you from the start. I love the way he gives you the facts of the case the profile, to build up a picture of how these cases got solved. I liked that he went in depth into some cases, particularly the Suzanne Collins case, and enjoyed the detail about after the trial and their work to help victims of these crimes. I found the chapter on the OJ Simpson case a little bit of a money grab (at the time this was written the trial had just ended) and did not reveal any new info about the case, not least because the FBI had not been asked to profile the case. I do enjoy these books and will definitely read more of their work.
