Edel Johnson is staying with Garda Sargeant Mike West following the ordeal of the last case and the attempt on her life. They still can’t seem to decide whether they want to be a couple though. Following an incident involving Mike’s new neighbours they go away together to Clare Island only for Mike and ultimately Edel to be dragged in an enquiry into a gruesome death on the island.

Really good read - my favourite of the series so far.

Thanks to Bloodhound Books and Valerie Keogh for the ARC in return for an honest review.

This is the third book in this series and it is my favorite yet. I highly suggest reading this series from the beginning as it is that good. This is a well written suspense story that has characters that made the story come to life. The twists and turns had me turning pages just waiting to see what would happen next. They pulled me into the story with ease and kept the story engaging. What West thought would be a simple romance weekend and really just perfect turns out to be a weekend to remember. What will happen when he gets pulled into a case that he needs to solve before someone else dies. They are great supportive characters that you don't want to miss. I highly recommend this book.
