I was surprised that the author decided to write a forth novel!! I was soo happy!! This novel was just as good as the other three maybe even better! I just loved how all the problems just fit together flawlessly. With the way this novel ended, I'm thinking Elizabeth Chandler is going to write more Kissed by an Angel novels!!! Can't wait!!!

I read the first 3 books in this series a while ago, and I really loved them, then I brought the last 3 books in the series. Then around when I got them I was mid moving in to my apartment and then I didn't got time to read them.

Now when I got the time to read Evercrossed I was really disappointed by it. It didn't have the same vibe I felt in the first 3 books, some parts of it was good, but mostly I just wanted to stop reading it. Then the book ends with a clifhanger, I hate that.

Ehhh... This book was okay. It's a pretty uninteresting romance novel to be honest, because let's face it, it's all been done before. There's literally nothing in here that hasn't already been written by some other author at some other point in time. Other than that, I found her writing style easy to comprehend, and her characters are likable and not two-dimensional.

I can't say I am happy with the way the book is turning out to be...
SPOILERS.

So, let me get this straight:
Ivy is madly in love with WIll in the end of the last book. Then she realizes she is still in love with Tristan, gets in the accident, gets kissed by an angel (yeah....) and gets back all alive and madly in love with Tristan again. Meantime, Will does everything he can to understand why Ivy acts all weird... again (she acts weird in all four books now. Talking about consistency) ... until they break up at last (Ivy is in love with a stranger who she thinks is her long lost angel Tristan).
All in all the story was just too bizarre and too melodramatic...

I was so disappointed by this book! I have put off reading it for a while now, because Kissed By An Angel was my favourite book for a long time, and I was worried that reading its sequel would put me off it. I'm a strong believer in the fact that certain books should not be added to - for example, the Hunger Games trilogy - if a fourth book was made, I don't think I'd read it, because the main story is done and dusted; it doesn't need adding to. This was the same as Kissed By An Angel - in the previous book, all loose ends were tied, and the story was finished. And this book - for me - had completely ruined the whole series. For a start, I used to love Ivy, and now she just annoys the heck out of me. I found that now she is too trusting, and half of her actions throughout the book are too unbelievable to accept - surely a teenage girl of her age would have more sense? Obviously not. And again - the whole fling with Guy - it was obvious right from the start that he was either Tristan or Gregory, and how Guy and Ivy came about getting close was again, unbelievable. And for another thing - I used to adore Will and Beth. Now I dislike both of them. They used to be sweet, kind, and always have Ivy's best interests at heart - now Will seems like an overly-protective and jealous boyfriend, and Beth seems like a jealous, clingy and difficult best friend. I really don't know what happened with this book - Chandler was one of my favourite authors, and there was only a hint of suspense and mystery to this book - and she is capable of so much more! Admittedly, it wasn't a completely terrible book - but it could be improved by far, and I really don't want to read the book that will ultimately come after this.
