3.5 stars. I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would, considering my experience with the series. Anna Fang is arguably the most compelling character in the series, and I was especially fascinated to see this book dedicated to the actress that played her in the movie! This was a a fun "making-of"-type anthology to enrich the Anna Fang character, including her backstory and her motivations. It was well-done!

It was nice to get some backstory on one of my favorite characters. Good, quick read.

I received this as an ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

This is a short story that delves further into Anna Fang's past. It shows what happened to her parents and how she came to be the flying ace that she is.

This was an interesting and quick read, though I haven't read any of the books in the series, so it was not as impactful as it could have been. I am however interested in reading the others in the series.
