I made it, I finished the whole book. Got some great songs to download but didn't make it through everything because most of the songs are really obscure and... not really songs I feel the need to listen to before I die. Made the sixties and seventies seem... awful...
But! On the upside, I redownloaded some old favorites. :)

been a while since i went through this thing but i do remember asking myself why is kid rock’s devil without a cause in here.
NO WAIT i remember how there’s little track listings highlighting what songs you DEFINITELY should listen to on each album. these struck a nerve! WHY is don’t look back in anger on oasis’ what’s the story morning glory not highlighted, but morning glory is???? huh???? or what about ex-factor on the miseducation of lauryn hill?? i could go on. it’s not right.

It's mediocre, mostly because it seems quite subjective but you can still learn something about each song's history and background.

Although I enjoyed most of these 1001 albums, I have to say that it's a very subjective selection, even not considering the fact that most of the albums are of the english language.

A great book to find out more albums/musicians. My main complaint is that there are a lot of artists that weren't in this book that I felt deserved to be. Still, it's a great book filled with great album recommendations.

Wow, hier wird wirklich jeder Musikstil bedient. Einfach nur atemberaubend. Es ist fantastisch. Mit dieser Sammlung reist mit durch die Zeit der Musik und ganz gleich, welchen Musikgeschmack man auch hat, diese Sammlung öffnet einem die Ohren für Stile, an die man sich vorher nicht gewagt hat. Für jeden Musikliebhaben ein Muss.

Siento que todos los libros que traten de música yo los devoro sin pensar.
En este libro nos da a conocer lo que para muchos expertos son los mejores de cada año. Estoy amando cada uno de los álbumes que hay.
Primero lo terminé de leer y luego escucharé los álbumes uno por uno porque siento que cada una de estas obras tiene muchas cosas que no se han descubiertos.
Lo que mas me ha gustado del libro que están los Beatles. Sabía que los discos de ellos son lo mejor del mundo. Casi ninguno decepciona.
Este es un libro que tienen que ir descubriendo las sorpresas que tiene. Cada una tiene su historia y de una u otra forma te ayuda al contexto de muchas canciones.
Siento que este libro le voy a sacar más jugo a medida que escuche los álbumes.
Es la primera vez que me devoro un libro demasiado rápido que parece mentira. Siento que va a ser mi libro favorito mínimo en 2 años xd
