this is exactly the pacing series needs.

not a chapter wasted, no endless info dumping or internal monologuing. i was totally riveted through the whole book, racing to the next page to find out what would happen to Ava and Torin.

some things were a bit predictable but not everything, and it was still enjoyable. i love Ava and Torin so much. C.N. Crawford did an excellent job on this duology, and i'll definitely be checking out some of her other books.

The story keeps an engaging pace throughout; a great mix of romance, excitement, suspense. The characters and their relationships were written wonderfully.
I really loved both books! Ido recommend to read if you’re a fan of new adult fantasy books! 
I also loved the covers they are beautifully done.

What a fantastic conclusion to the Frost and Nectar duology. 
I loved this book. The discovery of the Unseelie world, Queen Mab and her twists of truth. 
Fantastic plot twists and turns that lead you to a great, dramatic end. 
Torin and Ava’s relationship continues at a fantastic pace. 
I’m not sure why we had so much of Shalini’s POV unless it’s leading to a follow up book. 
All in all it was well worth the wait.
