A domestic thriller about a husband and wife with a deeply flawed relationship. Claire hides her traumatic past from her husband, Lenny, thus creating problems and danger.

Claire is an extremely unlikable character. If she would just open up and talk to her husband, it feels like the problems could be solved. The miscommunication here is infuriating.

This was a quick read, not very deep or involved. You can see where this book is going, so it was kind of disappointing.

Thanks to NetGalley, Blackstone Publishing, and Sara Foster for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Felt like things were missing. The ending could have been so much better, but it ended up being predictable and boring. Almost didn’t finish due to the pace of the book and the writing felt juvenile at times.
