This plot is so so good but the writing doesn't work so well for me and I find myself taken out of the story often as a result of that.
I'm not sure if I'll keep going with the series or not at this stage.

What makes these books enjoyable is the rich atmosphere and world building.

The dynamic between geralt and his companions is also a big part of why this book was fun.

For a book where not a lot of the story progresses if not nothing this is actually a fun read.
