4.25⭐️ tropes: brothers best friend and age gap (at least 10) romance. Kas comes with a troubled past, Spike comes to the rescue. Kas has never been in love, Spike refuses to ever love again.

4.5 stars - Spike has been drawn to Kassie since the moment he laid eyes on her. The book starts with sparks flying and tempers raging. It's comical to see them spar.

Spike has his issues with relationships and being able to steer clear of Kas but, on the whole he's made a decent life for himself. On the other hand, Kassie's life is far from rainbows and unicorns. Dangerous people and situations are lurking and threaten her newfound family and friends. Her secrets and tragic past boil to the surface on numerous occasions. The connection with Spike is hot but also the cause of several punches.

Be prepared to snicker, gasp, groan, feel phantom pains, cringe, and cheer on these two. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Omg...
I knew Kas’s story was going to be rough but, geez....us THAT was insane.
Spike. Gorgeous, kind, broken Spike. He really was a beautiful soul.
Kas. Ha! She was such a sassy little spitfire. Full of attitude, strength, and I just adored her so much.

Drama, steam, banter, danger and super sweet moments await you in this book. It hit me with ALL the feels and yet, I could totally read more - they were amazing.

I’m super excited for D’s book! Bring on December

Spike has met his match, and doesn't quite know what to do with the spitfire that is Kas.

After finding his boss' sister working in a strip club Spike did what any good friend would do. He got her out of there, and put some clothes on her. Although in the process he may have realize just how good Kas really looks. Kas is just trying to make ends meet in order to continue on her with life, and keep living. Spike really puts a damper on her ability to pay her debts.

What happens next is an epic battle of the wills between two people who just want to get their way. Throw in feelings, and hiding said feelings from the older brother and you have the makings of a great book. Lorraine knocks it out of the park with the third book in her Rebel Ink series. This book takes us in a bit of a different route as we see just how rough Kas has had in life. Her ability to pick her self up and keep going are traits we would all like to see in our self. She is a tough as nails character, and definitely challenges Spike along the way. I'm excited to read the next installment as we see more characters take the messy dive into love.

I’m blown away once again by a Tracy Lorraine book! I’m totally telling the truth when I say there isn’t a book by her I don’t like. She has such a lovely writing style that is so expressive.

Defy You was phenomenal! This story was something that felt like it’s never been written before. This book is an age gap and a brothers best friend type of book.

In this story we read about Spike and Kas. Spike is constantly trying to protect her while not letting his emotions get too deep for her since he has sworn off women as a commitment. Kas has had a very troubled past. She is constantly trying to repay others debts. Spike definitely has to fight his feelings since Kas is his best friend/boss’ little, half sister. These two together are steam. I love the banter they have for each other, definitely gives you the angst feel. Them together you see such a softer side to both characters.

This is definitely a series I can get behind! I continue to love this world and the characters in it! I seriously can’t pick a favorite character because I love them all! Definitely check this one out and if you haven’t started the series yet, do that too!

Defy You is the third book in the Rebel Ink series and it‘s all about Spike! I‘ve been interested in Spike‘s story since I‘ve read book one. Even though I am nit a huuuge fan of age gap I did enjoy this story. It wasn‘t my favorite out of the three stories released so far but it was a pretty entertaining story.

Kas is Zach‘s little sister whom he didn‘t know about until she shows up one day in his tattoo parlor. We don‘t get to know much about her until the end of Trick you where Spike sees her stripping in his go to strip club. Defy you continues right after the events in Trick you. Spike drags Kas from the stage at the strip club much to her dismay. Their stiry starts rigbt there. Spike is trying his hardest to keep Kas save and out of trouble but that girl defy‘s him anytime he says something.

Their story is actionpacked. Kas past is coming to get her and our rebel guys are in to help her out.
This book is sooo steamy but it fits very well to Spike.

I loved the sneak peek at the end of D‘s book! Can‘t wait to read more about these Rebel‘s!
