Could have had more electric keyboard and minor harmonies.

Jokes aside, I loved the book. I'm biased as I played in the pit orchestra for this in high school where it cemented itself as my clear-cut favorite musical (which I doubt will ever change). While it took me quite a bit longer to get through and understand everything, I loved reading the original French and am hoping to continue with more French literature in the future.

I wholeheartedly went into this book not expecting a single goddam thing. No presumptions, no expectations, and not even a bit of excitement. However when I tell you it was literally one of the best literary surprises ever, I'm not exaggerating. I fell in love with every chapter, every word, and every sentence. I didn't want it to end. Also Christine and Raoul were so sexy, toxic, and insane. Need all my relationships to be like this. Mr ghost also gives off like depressed emo but hot kid kind of vibes and I'm really digging it tbh. Wish I could read this book all over again for the first time.
