This book has been my favorite so far in the series, especially because I have loved Ramirez. I didn’t realize how much I would love her until this book. I love the way the series is following this FBI team, and I love the way characters interact with each other and support each other. Despite the haunting incidents and situations they are faced with, they always come out together in the end, even when the past is stirred, even when they’re being pushed to their limits.

I have loved the last 2 books in this series ( The butterfly garden & Roses of May) and this was no exception! While the subject matter is harrowing and in parts hits a nerve you can't put it down. Add to this characters like Ramirez and her team, that you can't help but love and root for and you get a series of books you could clear without coming up for breath!
