I have to say I liked this one much more than Gent! Zeke and Delilah were soooooo sweet!

I really felt bad for Zeke and how he always punished hisself. I was so happy when he had his epiphany!! And the steam was off the charts!

This is the second standalone book in the #bittersweetheat series, following the events after Gent. Reading Gent first isn't required, but definitely recommended.

Miss follows Delilah- the owner of Jitters coffeehouse in the small town of Garden Grove. This is where Delilah has grown up,and where she calls home. But what happens when her past finds her in the form of piercing blue eyes that she hasn't seen in years? With all the memories, broken promises, and false hope, lying between them will their be second chances or will the hurt, anger, and regret be too much for them to bare?

Zeke has been out of Garden Grove for five years. But when a job has landed him back in the town he grew up in, he has to see Delilah again. Her memory has refused to fade away, plaguing his mind every day. But she is better offeithout him in her life. She has went off to college, been successful and own her own business. What could Zeke offer her, besides the reminder of their past?

This was such a fun, sweet second-chance romance. We get a look into Delilah's life, her job at Jitters, and why her love life seemed to have been going through a dry spell. Will Delilah finally get the answers she had been looking for when it comes to Zeke? Or will his presence in town be too much for Delilah?

I loved Delilah's character. She was strong, sassy, honest, and independent. She stands up for what she believes in, and does what is right by her.

And I loved Zeke, he was funny, romantic, dirty, and strong- both physically and mentally. He has been through so much in his past, and yet still fights each day. When it comes to Delilah, he just wants to do right by her, and protect her even if it's from himself.

Delilah and Zeke's story was such a great read. 4.5 ⭐ out of 5⭐.

This had me non stop reading. Second chance love story for the win! Simply amazing. Absolutely loved it.
I really liked how the characters were in this one. Trip put up a fight in the beginning and she had all the rights to and Zee just wanted her again. I loved how she didn't give in automatically.
I just can't help falling in love with these characters in this series.

Such sweet second chance goodness. You could feel the chemistry and love between Delilah and Zeke. Zeke was so in his head and hard on himself, I struggled with rooting for him in parts but I was completely won over in the end. I absolutely loved the knock knocks, such a sweet thing between them.

Oh my stars! I have been waiting for Delilah ever since meeting her in Gent. And does Harloe Rae not disappoint in this one. This was a stunning second chance romance between Delilah and Zeke as they go through the past emotions to move forward on the future that they deserve together. The banter and quick wit really had me giggling at times. Especially with Raven tossed in the mix. The character development in Zeke is amazing as well. I love how he is so tortured with coming back home, with what he did to Delilah and working on moving past all the negativity that has surrounded him. My heart broke at moments for Delilah because of everything she has to endure with fighting for her man and the gossip mongers. Though I love her sass! She gives as good as she gets!
Overall, I loved this story. It was sweet and beautiful but also raw and emotional. Getting through the pain to get the sweet. Their chemistry is amazing and you can feel it sizzle right from the start with these two. Time heals wounds and Delilah heals Zeke. So I highly recommend this read and be ready to get Zeed!
