I loved that there were 4 different voice actors. This started off well, but I felt like she too quickly jumped into bed with them (and vice versa). And from that point on, it was just a bunch of banging.

I think what really took me out of this story was the sheer unrealisticness of it. It wasn’t unrealistic because it was a relationship between a woman and three men - it was unrealistic because they all seemed to be perfectly happy from the get-go sharing her with each other and didn’t once disagree or argue about this, despite the fact that 2/3 MMCs were supposedly
I also really did not enjoy the names they used (nicknames/ pet names).
Layla came across as whiny and needy.
Zack was a bit of a knob and the fact that he was hung up on his dead girlfriend that he lost when he was 18 (12 years ago at the point of this story) was a bit absurd.
I really don’t get what Josh’s problem was - why wouldn’t he just tell Layla he liked her and gone out with her from the beginning? Seems like he was attractive, well-off and Layla made her attraction/ affections known.
Luke was a bit creepy. Not because he was older but because he was her former teacher.
There were many things I didn’t like about this story.
If you’re looking for a lot of spicy sex scenes and not much substance, I guess this is worth picking up. Otherwise, skip this one.

I love the premise of the book. The plot line with the podcast was intriguing. I think my issue lies with the characters. They’re all grown adults (especially Luke), so I was thrown off by their mannerisms and the simple fact that they act like teenagers in puppy love.
ESPECIALLY towards the end of the book.
Also the voices were different but the same and Ik that makes no sense but it’s the truth. Sometimes Layla would say something that I could picture the guys saying and it’s not cause she’s their close friend. It’s cause the character voices meshed and I didn’t like that.
Zack’s pet name for Layla… 🤢
But on a positive note, I love that each character had their own story and how they all had their own character flaw they were focused on. It gave the plot a little more umph.
And the guys dynamic, just themselves together was chefs kiss. They never made anything awkward. They never got possessive and jealous with each other. Their relationship felt very organic.
I did in fact enjoy the book during the read. I just cringed and got annoyed a little too often than I’d like. It’s just not anything spectacular. I’ll probably forget about it in a couple weeks. 3.75 stars :)

“And some days, I don’t think of her at all. And those are the worst.”
Reading Lily Gold books that are all about reverse-harem really is just the type of books you read on your downtime - when you can't really pick a book to read. I love how all four of them have a past and a character development. Really is just a fun read with a little dark past.

VERY SPICY
An exhausting amount, actually. There wasn't much chance to see their relationship develop from a romance standpoint.
But, that's not really the point of books like these, right?
If you're into really really spicy books this will be a good read for you. If you like spice but enjoy banter and a slow burn pick something else.

MMFM, athlete/teacher/nerd combo is 🤌🏼
She’s slightly annoying and their British accents didn’t come across well sometimes but the smut was so good
Liked her a lot more towards the end once you could tell she started feeling more confident, loved how every person got their own plot/happy ending and no one fell to the back
