Of course the big ol’ billionaire is a Scrooge & falls in love and changes. I am not a fan of these kind of stories.

Don’t think this was the right time for me. It was your basic stereotypical fmc who loves Christmas, and grumpy rich man who hates Christmas.
Idk if it was just me, but it lacked… pizazz?
Didn’t feel magical, or like, anything really.
Like soggy bread

This was easily one of my favorite holiday novellas this year! It was packed with a great story, some spice, and a whole lot of fun.

After being run out of town with his mother as a child due to the poor decisions of his father, Adam has returned to Fairhill for the holidays – except Christmas is a black hole in his heart and he couldn’t be more Scrooge-like if he tried. And yet, Holly who grew up across the street and was only ever Adam’s best friend’s younger sister to him, loves everything Christmas and is convinced she can help him see the bright lights of the holiday.

Once he starts to see her as more than just his former best friend’s little sister, everything changes. Especially since she’s basically the only one in town who doesn’t look at him with distaste or pity.

I seriously loved both Holly and Adam and I want more of them! I cannot recommend this fun read enough.

Tropes:
- brother's best friend
- holiday romance
- novella
- grumpy/sunshine
- second chance romance
- it's always been you
- forced proximity/snowed in
- one bed
- billionaire romance
