This is one of those books that makes me wish Goodreads allowed half-star reviews.

After sitting with this one for a few weeks, I've decided to round down my score. While this a stark and relevant collection of essays, I do think it has some of the same issues I found in Christina Rivera's collection - a person with power speaking (in some cases over) those without.

Roy's honesty is something I aspire to achieve. Reading this after 4 years of publication was a real horror of realizing how so much of catastrophic impending disasters actually came true.
