I wasn't really engaged with this one. I think I should have immediately gone into this as I did with the first 3 books as I struggled to take a grasp of the story.
There were still moments of excitement and intrigue and I definitely wanted to see how the 4th book concluded, but I was lost and half paying attention the majority of the time.

no other way to say this. reading this book gave me the exact same feeling as watching the bbc merlin season four finale. tee you’ll understand what i mean by that. yeah it was bad. fortunately it only took a day to read this book so i can be normal now (guy who’s lying. guy who still has to read book 5). anyway. what if there were two women in massachusetts that wanted to deal you massive amounts of psychic damage via a book that is really actually not that good technically speaking.

Wow. Just. Wow.
Despite the poor writing Holly and Cassie have done lately on the series, TSM really surprised me.
Jesus, Callum Hunt's character evolution is HUGE. His time in prison really did him some good.
Anyway, this is a great book and a great plot.
