Not one of Colleen Hoover's most popular books, but I really liked it. At first, I thought it was going to be a toxic slow burn teen romance, and then there was a twist that made me not want to put this book down. One thing that is really eating me is the cliffhanger that happened at the beginning of the book. Hopefully, it is answered in the second book, Losing Hope. Hopeless is told from a single perspective of Sky. I would suggest checking the trigger warnings for this book if you struggle with any kind of trauma or abuse. I'm not too eager to read the second book because it's Holders' perspective, and I'm not sure it would be worth it other than to see if the cliff hanger is solved. We'll see.
