A good reminder to hold our own plans loosely and to seek God's plan. Gained insight about forgiveness, Judah (Jesus did not descend from Joseph), and Joseph's final words concerning his bones. They must have been so incredulous when God led them out of the Promised Land into Egypt, because it seems so counter to what God promised. And yes it took hundreds of years for them to return to the Promised Land, many times the life of one person. Goes to show that the way God works is often not how we expect or understand, but his ways are good. And ultimately, he is good, and it is that that matters, not his actual promises.

What an impactful study, maybe the most impactful of all of Kelly Minter's Bible studies I've done so far. It really was amazing to dig deep into Joseph's story, but what actually meant the most to me was God's faithfulness and kindness toward the brothers, especially Judah. If He can stay right by Judah's side and work on his heart and eventually bring the Christ from his line...dang, He can still stay and work with my heart too, right? Loved this. Highly recommend.

This was such a good study. I really enjoyed a closer look at Joseph's story and digging into how God worked through it all and applying the promises and ideas to my personal life.

I love everyone who wrote parts of this study. It did feel a little disconnected though. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had done each of their studies separately!

This was a good way to see different author’s Bible study styles. I really enjoyed the Priscilla Shirer Gideon section and Beth Moore Esther session but I already knew I loved those authors. I also enjoyed the Jennifer Rothschild section on Gomer and was unfamiliar with that author. Altogether it was a good way for try out different authors but each section was such a condensed version of the full-length Bible studies that sometimes it felt lacking because it referred back to previous days of weeks from the full-length study.

I really loved this study with Kelly Minter. I felt like I got to sit down with a friend and go through the life of Joseph.
