I didn't like the style. It's like Pratchett wrote down his pen and paper adventures...also the story is inconsistent.

ספר נפלא ותרגום נהדר (אבל אני לא אובייקטיבי).
אני לא חובב מושבע של ספרי פנטזיה, אבל מעת לעת קורא ספרים בז'אנר (למשל את סדרת ספרי חומריו האפלים של פולמן ואת הספר הראשון בסדרת האבק וכן את Neverwhere ואוקיינוס בקצה המשעול של גיימן) אבל זהו לי הספר הראשון של פראצ'ט ועכשיו בא לי עוד...
פראצ'ט בניגוד לאחרים המוזכרים לעיל, ממש בורא עולם אחר עם חוקים אחרים. הספר מלא בהומור, ציניות וביקורת והוא שוצף וקולח. לעיתים הקריאה קצת מאתגרת, אבל זה בהחלט שווה את זה.
