Well, I wanted more fae politics and I definitely got it in this book. Alex is all over fairie in this one as she tries to solve a double murder that, on the surface, looks set to ignite tensions between two fae courts. I know there's only one book left in the series and I'm curious to see how the author will manage to wrap everything up because I feel as though there are still a lot of dangling plot threads.

Oh, and I have a theory about Alex's father so I'll see how that pans out.

I used to be able to devour this books in one day and slowly the series is dwindling and getting less interesting. This tends to happen for me when authors drag out a series too long. Hopefully, the next book picks back up.

This might be one of my favorite in the series. I love the Prince of Shadows so much and the ending was amazing! I can’t believe the next book is the last in the series I never want this world to end. Per usual team Falin and I hate the Winter Queen. Really cool with the Mender coming through with Planeweaving.

I loved this book. It was such a great take on the Fae and Witchcraft. I tore through these really quickly. I wish Death had been a bigger part of the later books. I also liked the earlier books that focused more on her Grave magic and less on other skills more.

Better than the last book but still missing some of that spark that initially made me fall in love with the series. But I enjoyed it! It wrapped up some loose ends and started some new, interesting plot paths that I am intrigued to see where they go.

I read through this book so fast I barely slept, or ate, I couldn’t but it down. I love this Alex Craft series and was so happy to add this one to my collection. The mystery plot lines are always so amazing and the political intrigue of Faerie is so engaging (suck it Winter Queen!). I’m already dying to read the next book!
