I really liked seeing the different perspectives of the other characters. This was a very tense, sad sequel and WOW Naoka is such a rotten brat. I just don't like her, and her reasons for hating Shoko are extremely petty. Other than that, I thought this was a good installment.

Nope, it definitely got more heart-wrenching. That took a twist that I never would have expected. I definitely think Shoya has changed, he still feels so guilty for everything he did to Shoko in the past. He feels like nothing he can do will ever make up for it but he just wants to be around her and protect her for everyone else who still makes fun of her. This volume made me absolutely hate Naoka, she is so selfish and doesn't care about anyone else's feelings. The next volume is the last one and I don't know if I'm ready for that yet.
