So, a lot of the men in the Club Risque series are jerks. Our hero, Christian, was a jerk in his 20s, but has matured a lot now. Whether or not he deserves Trinity's forgiveness for the horrible way he treated her years ago is a matter for debate, however, their modern-day relationship seems to really work. The drama with his ex-wife was way too superficial, and either needed to be left out or expanded upon (to really be a conflict). Still, this is a great second chance romance.

Plus, what happened to his mother? Her fate is totally left up in the air, and doesn't seem to be part of any future book
