Was a good quick read! Liked the alien/human part of the characters! If men were that into having sex, there would be a lot of happy women out there!

Really liked this first book (I do not advise to read the previous one).
Humanoid alien romance (society very human but in space). The brothel, her being a slave, the contract, the bond. Everything was really good and fun.
It's Joanna Wilde so expect an unbalanced dynamic, angst, action and sexy times.
It had some similarities with the tv show Firefly .

My favourite part was when they were on his ship, both had catched feelings but acted coldly because they thought the other was in just untill the contract.

Not a bad book for a free Nook download, better than I thought it would be. Quick read, took me so long cause I was reading two books at once. Lots of steamy parts, plenty of action, and a decent well thought out plot. Will check to see if it is there is a next book, wouldn't mind learning about what happens to the other characters and see how things turn out for the main couple. Kind of liked how the religous fanatics where written, they reminded me of people I used to know who were just as closed minded. Book was a nice change of pace from all the paranormal I tend to read.
