I realised when reading this book, the version I had was a proof copy, there were a few mistakes and duplicated paragraphs throughout etc.

The book was ok, I felt if could have been a standout read for me, as I love the themes throughout, but what let it down was the main point of the book. It focuses on Jackson, a teen who can time travel, at first only short jumps back to the past but then he jumps back further than he ever has before.

What lost me in this book was the narration of the time travel, it felt confused and wasn’t explained very well. I did think it could of been due to the copy I read, but I don’t think so.

The characters are enjoyable, i liked the relationship between Jackson and his friend Adam who knows his secret, his relationship with his father is interesting too, however, the relationship between himself and his girlfriend didn’t feel right and felt forced in some parts.

It was an ok read, will I read the next in the series, probably not.
