Loved this but its just a perfect collection of all that obsesses me. Great world, great art, good story. Loved it but have no sense of how much other people would.

So I didn't really know anything about this book going into it. I guess Dixon created this whole Winterworld thing awhile back in a mini-series or something?
I dunno.
I do know that you don't need to know anything about that to enjoy this one. Which is good.
Did I enjoy it? Well...yeah. Sure. Was it anything special?
Nah. Not really.
I'm a sucker for post-apocalyptic stuff and this fits the bill pretty nicely. The two protagonists are fairly interesting and captured my attention. The world? I dunno. It's snow. Not much else to say.
Lets put it this way - I had enough fun with this first arc that I'll pick up the second book when it's released.
That must mean something good, right?
