Ughhh their timing is always off.

Futaba goes on a date with Toma, she gets to know him more and see more of him; how nice of a guy he is. Toma’s actually really sweet. Although it does seem as if he’s rushing Futaba into a relationship she’s not really sure she wants. Futaba still has feelings for Kou. And while he’s trying to sort his situation out with Narumi, he runs out of time to tell Futaba how he feels.

Toma asks Futaba to go out with him and she accepts. Meanwhile, Uchimiya and Yuri start dating.

Okay, I’m of course still rooting for Futaba and Kou, buuut i can’t help but love Toma and Futaba at the moment, their just so cute and Kou kept dragging his feet around waiting for everything to work out itself that he lost his chance. I don’t want him to give up but i’m enjoying how cute everyone is at the moment. There’s only 4 volumes left… I hope they have time together as a couple before it ends though!!

Toma seems like a good guy but I don’t like that he’s lowering himself to trying to date Futaba while she clearly still has feelings for Kou. You can’t force someone to want you back and I’m honestly annoyed that Futaba is stringing this poor dude along. Tell him straight up no and let him move on.

One of my biggest gripes with manga (but maybe this is a cultural thing? Or is it a teen thing?) are characters inabilities to be honest and say how they really feel. They drag out having difficult conversations for fear of rejection or fear of hurting someone’s feelings. I really wish this wasn’t such a common trope in these high school series.

Too bad. Kou is late. Now, Yoshioka decides to date Kikuchi. But well, I think I understand Yoshioka's stance here. It's not like she want to hurt Kikuchi--as of she still like Kou. But, with his gentleness, Yoshioka want try to believe that she could move on from Kou.

Then, since he knows that he should compete with Kikuchi, it looks like that Kou being more clingy here. Sadly, it's late for him to win Yoshioka back. Sigh. But I think, the way Yoshioka will back to Kou when she realised that what she was doing to Kikuchi isn't the right thing. At the end, it will hurts Kikuchi 'more.

Anyway, I'm glad that Makita got a gentle guy like ... Hngg.. what's his name? Lol. at first, I thought the one that will be with Makita is Kikuchi. But well, I was wrong.

Since it will near the end, I expected on the next volume there will be a chance for Kou to redeem himself. We'll see

Toma is a little naive for wanting a relationship with someone who doesn't feel the same way. I am however proud of Futaba who finally takes her happiness seriously. I love this character, she looks a lot like me. I can understand that It's so hard to forget someone.
