There are two parallel stories in this novella and it’s too much. By the time we get to the end it’s very rushed and feels forced. That being said there were some good elements: I liked the interpretation of the myth, the contemporary scenes had a very Indian Jones feel to them. I’d probably read more by this author.

I liked this, but I'd hoped to love it. I think it would've been better if it had been a full book, with more editing. And I really wanted to watch the love story between Hades and Persephone unfold, instead of this taking place in so little time. But I really enjoyed the characters, and I looove Greek mythology, especially Hades/Persephone. And I'm interested in the sequel!
