Read this as I was dismantling my library's damaged copy for button-making fodder. I was a little fuzzy on my memory of this book's plot when I started reading the graphic novel, and it seems as though this adaptation covered the basic plot points and nothing more. There are some story gaps and I have some questions, but that's what you have to do to get the story down to this illustrated page count. I did very much like the character designs, especially June.

I'm not usually into graphic novels but I enjoyed this one. I wish they had included more from the actual book but its not bad for such a short read.

Aside from the whitewashing and how short it was, an enjoyable read.

I've been debating rereading these books but my TBR list is so extensive. I settled for a quick refresher and now I definitely want to reread :')

I loved the novel but really thought the graphic novel changed a lot of the story to make it shorter. It didn't make the story justice and the plot felt patchy. A little thing that also bothered me was the positioning of the bubbles. They weren't in order and some answers didn't match the question asked right before. I definitely prefer the longer novel version.

The problem with some graphic novels is the artwork doesn't seem to fit for the story and the characters don't look like how they were explained. That is not the case with this! I loved [book:Legend|9275658] and this graphic novel was more than satisfactory. I can't speak for everyone, but June and Day were drawn exactly as I had imagined them. It is probably the best graphic novel for a book I have read.
